It’s no secret who’s leading up the Niantic Labs team over at Google but without doing a lot of digging yourself it’s hard to really appreciate who he is, where he’s come from and what he’s brought and will continue to bring to Ingress and anything else Niantic Labs may have to offer.
Ingress is a brand new augmented reality game created by Google. You heard that right, Google. The Search/Advertisement giant has now thrown itself into the ring of gaming, and so far it’s doing a fantastic job. An Android based game, Ingress aims to get you out of your house and out into the wild looking for portals are historic landmarks and public facilities. Never again will you be so excited and willing to take the kids to the library or go wait in line at the post office.
Are you still just waiting at your computer for an Ingress Invite? Well there are several things you can do to try and earn your own invite/activation code.
Do you have invites for Ingress but not enough friends to use them all up? Not a problem send those invites over to Administrator@IngressGuide.com and we’ll make sure that the activation codes go to people who are really wanting to play the game.
Why should you do this? Because it would be a shame for those activation codes to go unused and we’ll make sure they get used and people playing the game who really want to play. This is the main way we have received our activation codes so far is through people who have either received the codes and didn’t need them/want to play or from people who could invite and didn’t have anyone else to invite.
Hopefully soon Google will open Ingress up as an open application and Activation Codes and invites won’t be as big of an issues anymore, but until then it’s better to give so that others can receive.
