For the majority of the year, due to not having the poll updated we’ve been running the same poll. That poll asks one simple question, what did you most want to see added to Ingress?
Well here are the results:

- New Gameplay Options (32%, 238 Votes)
- Additional Faction(s) (27%, 198 Votes)
- Additional Unique Items (21%, 154 Votes)
- More Local Events (20%, 150 Votes)

Loading ...As you can see 1/3rd of the votes (238 of 740 total) went towards “New Gameplay Options’. Unfortunately for those of you who voted for this option it is not something that Niantic Picked up and ran with.
Instead, it seems Niantic focused more on what ended up being our least voted for options. It did still receive 1/5th of the votes though (150 of 740). Niantic has been very active towards promoting more local Ingress events as well as anomalies and other big events to promote more people playing the game and following the story line.
The other two options were Additional Faction(s) with 27% of the votes (198) and Additional Unique Items (154).
